Children attending Mini Makers workshops must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult, who must remain with the child throughout the session. The accompanying adult is responsible for the child's supervision, behaviour, personal care and welfare at all times. 

Children attending Little Creators (5–7 years) and Young Masters (11–15 years) workshops may attend without a parent or carer remaining on site, provided a completed booking has been made and appropriate emergency contact information has been supplied.

Parents or carers are responsible for ensuring children are collected promptly at the end of the workshop. If another adult will be collecting a child, Busy Little Hands must be informed in advance. We reserve the right to verify the identity of the person collecting a child where necessary. 

Babes in arms (babies aged under 6 months) are welcome to attend Mini Makers workshops at no additional cost, provided they are accompanied by a paying sibling who is booked onto the workshop.

In the event that Busy Little Hands needs to cancel a workshop, we will endeavour to reschedule the workshop in the first instance. If this is not possible, or a participant is unable to attend the rescheduled date, a full refund will be issued.

All workshop sales are final. Workshops are non-refundable, except in the event of a cancellation by Busy Little Hands, as detailed above.

It is the responsibility of the participant to check their availability before booking onto a workshop. If you are unable to attend your booked workshop, your booking cannot be refunded or transferred unless otherwise agreed by Busy Little Hands at its sole discretion. 

Please check workshop details carefully. If you notice an error with your booking, you must contact us as soon as possible, as later rectification may not be possible.

During the workshop, Busy Little Hands is responsible for the supervision of participating children until they are collected at the end of the session. 

Any safeguarding concerns relating to a child will be taken seriously and managed in accordance with our safeguarding procedures. Where necessary, information may be shared with the appropriate authorities to protect the welfare of a child.

Photography

Photographs or video recordings of children will only be taken with the prior written consent of a parent or legal guardian. A completed and signed Photography Consent Form must be received before any photographs or recordings are taken. Where consent is provided, Busy Little Hands may use these images for promotional and marketing purposes, including on our website, social media platforms and printed promotional materials. Parents or legal guardians may withdraw their consent at any time by contacting us in writing. Withdrawal of consent will not affect photographs or recordings that have already been published or distributed before consent was withdrawn. 

Data Sharing and Protection

Busy Little Hands is committed to protecting your privacy. We process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

When you make a booking with us, we collect and process the personal information you provide for the purpose of administering your booking, providing our services, communicating with you, and complying with our legal obligations. Where required by applicable data protection laws, we will obtain your consent before collecting or processing your personal information for any purpose that requires it.

By making a booking, you acknowledge that Busy Little Hands will collect and use your personal information for these purposes.

Busy Little Hands carries appropriate public liability insurance for the workshops we deliver. A thorough risk assessment has been produced for all workshops.

To ensure the safety of participants and staff, all workshops will begin with a health and safety induction. You will be asked to sign to say you have understood the procedures for any workshops involving specialised machinery, equipment or activity that could pose a health and safety risk to yourself and others. This is mandatory to take part in the activity, and failure to do so will result in removal from the workshop. We reserve the right to refuse your participation in the workshop if you disregard the procedures outlined in the health and safety induction agreement.

Participants who are unwell or displaying symptoms of a contagious illness should not attend a workshop. Busy Little Hands reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant who appears unwell if attendance may present a risk to others. 

Parents or carers must inform Busy Little Hands of any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements or additional needs that may affect a participant's ability to take part safely in a workshop. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate individual needs, Busy Little Hands cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

In the event of an accident or medical emergency, Busy Little Hands will administer basic first aid where appropriate and seek emergency medical assistance if required. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the participant's parent, legal guardian or emergency contact as soon as possible.
